The Doctors

Meet the experienced and friendly dentists who make us the leading provider of oral hygiene and personalized dental services 0n Mercer Island.

Dr. Chris Lewis

Professional

Dr. Lewis grew up on Mercer Island and graduated from Mercer Island High School  before attending the University of Washington.  After receiving a degree in Chemistry, he attended the UW School of Dentistry, graduating with Honors in 1984.  He immediately entered practice on Mercer Island with his father, Dr. Robert Lewis, who established the practice in 1959.  Dr. Lewis has also taught at the UW School of Dentistry for 37 years in various courses, however most consistently for a weekly class teaching dental anatomy and occlusion.  He lectures on various topics including maxillary incisors, mandibular molars and premolars, traumatic occlusion, and parafunction (clenching and grinding).

Interests in Dentistry

Dr. Lewis was the first dentist on Mercer Island to restore implants.  After 35 years and thousands of restorations, it remains a particular interest among the many procedures he has the opportunity to perform.  He also truly enjoys teaching at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.  Having the opportunity to be a part of the development of young dentists and give back to the school where he trained is an honor.  He has been awarded Instructor of the Year at the dental school over 34 times and has been a Seattle Met Magazine “Top Dentist” continuously for many years.

Chris and Bob Lewis in their long established practice here on Mercer Island.  She has been selected as a ‘Top Dentist’ with Seattle Magazine multiple times.

Interests in Dentistry

Dr. Gibson enjoys seeing families and putting all the pieces of their dental health together.   In particular, she enjoys treating the children in the practice.  From a technical standpoint, Kristen especially likes the esthetic aspects of her practice.
